Moringa Muffins

These healthy and delicious Moringa muffins recipe use coconut milk. A great superfood snack for on-the-go. They are also great ways to start or end your day! Incorporating Moringa leaf powder in your daily snacking habits are great ways to get all the nutritions you need to get through the day.


  • 60 ml water
  • 1 tablespoon ground chia seeds
  • 115 g of margarine, softened
  • 100 g of brown sugar
  • Teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 190 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon fine salt
  • 120 ml coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons of SAWA Moringa Powder


  • Preheat oven to 180°C and line a 12-cup muffin pan with silicone or baking cups.
  • Whisk together the water and chia seeds in a small bowl; set aside.
  • Cream the softened margarine and sugar with a electric mixer until light. Beat in the chia seed mixture and vanilla extract.
  • Stir in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the milk & vinegar until smooth.
  • Then add the moringa and mix until combined.
  • Fill the muffin cups about ¾ full and bake for 18 to 20 minutes.
